Mega Millions winning numbers, live results for Tuesday’s $250M lottery drawing

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $250 million, with a cash option of $117.3 million.
The winning numbers were: 16, 22, 26, 36 and 56. The Mega Ball was 1, with a Megaplier of 4X.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $229 million jackpot, a pair of second-prize, $1 million tickets were sold in Missouri. Each matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 23, 26, 35, 41 and 43. The Mega Ball was 7, with a Megaplier of 2X.
Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize valued of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.
Mega Millions drawings are held each Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $39 million with a cash option of $18.6 million.
